The first version of 2 Big Nites Out Spring Music Festival was nine years ago. It all started with a group of downtown restaurateurs, night club owners,
and the board directors of Snohomish Artist Guild, bantering to each other about we need something to draw people downtown Everett.
In five locations, this year, Snohomish Artist Guild is presenting the 9th Annual 2 Big Nites Out Spring Music Festival. Friday and Saturday nights May 16 & 17 starting at 9pm, PC’S Pub, Chop Stix Restaurant, The Flying Pig eatery, Tailgater Joes, and The Anchor Pub are going to be overwhelmed with the talent of many great rhythms of blues, rock-a-billy reggae and soul. One of which is an original headliner from the very first festival, Lloyd Jones, a great guitarist from Portland. Throughout the nights, other great bands including Becky Sue & Her Big Rockin’ Daddies (swing blues) and Little Big Man (reggae) will entertain the crowd.
Joining us this year is KSER radio station, they are holding a fundraiser at the Anchor Pub where you can hear ten different bands playing Rock-a-Billy. The station is calling this a “ Rock-a -Billy Thunder.
The 2 Big Nites Out Spring Musical Festival is an annual event that makes the most of a weekend in downtown, Everett. Snohomish Artist Guild takes pride in the events brought to the public. Tickets cost $15, call 425-303-1848, go to the club, or just show up and get them at the door the night of the event. Tickets are joint coverage charge and include rides from the returning trolley from site-to-site. So come on out, listen, and dance to the music!
